Hockey Graham Mink Drops the Gloves vs Kyle Rank

Graham Mink has now gone 13 games without scoring a goal and nine without a point so what better way to try and take your mind off that than with a fight.* Here’s the video of his bout with Kyle Rank during the Amerks 3-2 win over the Portland Pirates at HSBC Arena in Buffalo.

Enjoy and share!!

Wow... That, was awesome. Especially with how Rank ran around last time these teams met.

It completely settled the game down too. If you aint scoring you better do something else..and he did it.

SJ71 has a brilliant future
Re: Graham Mink Drops the Gloves vs Kyle Rank

Mink's role has changed with the Amerks compared to what it was with the Bears. He was on the top line in Hershey so goals and points were going to come. Is he in a scoring slump right now? Yes he is. But the other things he brings to this team are so important. He played on three of the four lines in last nights game. He can play any roll and will be a very valuable asset for the Amerks down the stretch and into the playoffs.

I agree and i bet you he will score his fare share of huge playoff goals.

Re: Graham Mink Drops the Gloves vs Kyle Rank

I know that he is bummed about not scoring but when you watch him play, he doesn't take a shift off. That's all we really want from our players. The goals will come.

That is a very good point. Goal scorers are always streaky.

He's not even really a true goal scorer. It's not like we are talking about Taffe here. Yes, he could be scoring more, but I'm not worried. His game includes much more than scoring.

And like others on here have said before, once you get to the mucking-grinding post-season where guys like Taffe historically struggle, this guy is money.
